Fans have long hoped that Naughty Dog’s The Last Of Us might come to PlayStation 4, and now that dream is finally true.
As suggested by a post in the official PlayStation Blog, the critically acclaimed post-apocalyptic adventure will be gracing Sony’s PS4 as soon as this summer.
As far as features are concerned, it’s been confirmed that The Last Of Us Remastered will tout 1080p resolution, greater draw distances, and improved lighting not found in the original release.
Remastered will also pack in all previous DLC for the game including Left Behind, Abandoned Territories, and the yet to be released Reclaimed Territories pack.
If that’s not enough for you, optional commentary is also being added to in-game cinematics as well. Conversations include those with writer Neil Druckmann, Joel voice actor Troy Baker, and Ellie voice actress Ashley Johnson.
This news comes in response to a leak by a Sony Eurasia employee that revealed the title to CNN last month.
Over 2013, The Last Of Us was lauded with over 200 Game Of The Year Awards, and it seeks to further impress with this updated build.
Will you be getting The Last Of Us on PS4, or was the PS3 version good enough?
