The Samsung 55-inch 1080p 3D LED HDTV: Worth It’s Weight? Review

Whenever I am about to purchase something like a new HDTV that costs more than, say, $500, I spend a lot of time doing research online.  I check a variety of websites in an attempt to get diverse viewpoints.  Basically, if I am spending what I would consider a decent sum of money on an item, I want to be sure it is going to be quality and last more than a couple of years.

When I was recently shopping around for a new television, I came across the Samsung UN55C7000 55 inch model.  This HDTV is, simply put, amazing.  It has a built in BlueRay player and supports 3D TV.  The latter is still a technology in development, but it will certainly be nice to have this once 3D goes mainstream.

The Samsung TV is so much better than I had expected.  The included BlueRay movie was “How To Train Your Dragon” and, using the included 3D glasses, watching this movie made for an experience that has truly reset my expectations for a home entertainment system.

Of course, the TV makes even normal cable and internet-delivered Netflix look amazing.  My only regret is that I upgraded my 32 inch LCD HDTV months ago.
