It’s elimination night on NBC’s Season 7 of The Voice and The Top 8 finalists will be revealed!
On tonight’s result show, two artists will go home no matter what team they are on, and America will get to instantly save one of the remaining artists. Who made the Top 8? Who got eliminated tonight?
Let’s get right into our live recap!
After a Team Adam performance of “The Good Only Die Young,” it is time for some results. Host Carson Daly reveals the first two artists saved and moving on to next week’s show are…Team Blake’s Craig Wayne Boyd and Team Adam’s Matt McAndrew!
After chatting with the coaches, Carson gets back to more results. He announces that America saved from Team Pharrell… Luke Wade! America also saved… Team Gwen’s Taylor John Williams!
Next up, Pharrell joins his artists for a performance of “What A Wonderful World.” Wow, Danica sounds absolutely amazing!
Back to more results! America saved…Team Pharrell’s Danica Shirey! America also saved…Team Adam’s Chris Jamison.
After Talyor Swift’s performance of “Blank Space,” more results are announced! The last artist saved by America’s votes is…Team Adam’s Damien
This leaves Regan James, Anita Antoinette, and Ryan Sill in the bottom 3. Now it’s time for America to decide who to instantly save!
First up, Regan performs “I’m Like A Bird.” She’s a tad off key during this performance, but still manages to showcase her distinct tone.
Next up, Team Gwen’s Anita Antoinette performs “The Remedy.” We are not sure if this was the best song choice for her. She, too, had a few pitchy moments during her performance. Despite this rocky performance, she has proven time and time again that she’s an incredible talent.
Team Gwen’s Ryan Sill performs “Collide.” Sill gave a solid vocal performance. He did a great job of showcasing the tenderl, pure, quality of his voice.
America instantly saved….RYAN SILL!! Sill was also saved during last week’s instant save!
Team Gwen’s Anita Antoinette and Team Blake’s Reagan James are eliminated tonight.
