The Voice Live Eliminations Recap: Who Made The Top 10?

Tonight on NBC’s Season 5 of The Voice, we find out the results of America’s votes. Who got eliminated and who made the Top 10?

Well, at the very beginning of the show, Host Carson Daly reveals a new twist called Instant Save. As soon as the Top 10 contestants are revealed, the three singers with lowest number of votes will have one last chance to be saved by America through the utilization of Twitter through #voicesave.

Before revealing which contestants have been saved, Sarah Bareilles sings her hit single “Brave” with Caroline, Tessanne, Jacquie and Kat!

After the performance, Host Carson Daly reveals the First two artists who are safe: Team Cee Lo’s Caroline Pennell and Team Christina’s Matthew Schuler!!

Soon after Cee Lo performs with his team, Carson reveals the next two artists who made it to next week’s show. The two artists include Team Blake’s Austin Jenckes and Team Adam’s Tessanne Chin!

After another live performance by all boys on Season 5 of the Voice, Carson continues to announce more results. He reveals that America has saved Team Christina’s Jacquie Lee, Team Blake’s Cole Vosbury, and Team Adam’s Will Champlin!!

Following a performance by Team Adam, Carson announces the next couple contestants who have been saved by America, which include Ray Boudreux from Team Blake and James Wolpert from Team Adam.

Thus, the bottom three consists of Kat Robichaud, Josh Logan, and Jonny Gray. One of the contestants can be saved via twitter through the Instant Save. Twitter users have 5 minutes to vote for the contestant they want to save by typing #thevoice followed by the first name of the contestant they want to save!

After a commercial break, Carson announces that Jonny Gray is the first to be eliminated. Ultimately, he reveals that Team Cee Lo’s Kat Robichaud has been saved via the Instant Save!

We were rooting for Josh, but there’s no denying Kat gave a great performance last night!
