It’s another round of live eliminations tonight on Season 5 of The Voice (2013). Who will make the Top 8? Who will be saved tonight by the Instant Save?
Well, let’s get right into results!
After Christina joins her team to perform a medley of Michael Jackson tunes, Host Carson Daly announced the first two artists saved, which are Team Adam’s James Wolpert and Team Christina’s Matthew Schuler!
Following a performance by James, Kat and Will, singing Fall Out Boy’s “Sugar We’re Going Down,” Carson announces that the next two artists saved are Team Blake’s Ray Boudreaux and Team Adam’s Will Champlin.
Next up, Team Blake perform with Coach Blake Shelton and soon after Carson reveals the next two contestants saved are Tessanne Chin from Team Adam and Jacquie Lee from Team Christina. Wow! This gives Adam a clear sweep as all 3 of his contestants have made it to the next round in the competition.
Soon after, Caroline and Tessanne sing “Royals” by Lorde! What a great duet! Caroline sounds amazing on this song! The song suits her voice so perfectly. Tessanne, of course, sounds great as usual with her powerhouse vocals.
Moments later, Carson announces that America has saved Cole Vosbury from Team Blake, leaving Austin, Kat & Caroline in the bottom 3.
Now, America has 5 minutes to vote for the Artist they want to save using #voicesave on twitter. Who won tonight’s instant save? Team Cee Lo’s Caroline Pennell is saved via Instant Save!! We are really happy about this! We love the unique edge to Caroline’s voice. She definitely deserved a spot in the Top 8!
