It’s the season 5 finale result show of The Voice tonight! Who’s excited?! We definitely are!
Last night, the top 3 contestants Tessanne Chin, Will Champlin and Jacquie Lee, all had one last chance to prove why they deserve to be the Season 5 winner of The Voice. Judging from last night’s performances, we gotta say Tessanne blew us away with her performance of Whitney Houston’s “I Have Nothing.”
But, was it enough to crown her the Season 5 winner?! Well, we will find out tonight! We will be live recapping the finale result show! Be sure to refresh your page for up to date results!
Here we go with the live recap
First up, the Top 20 Season 5 contestants perform “Tonight Is The Night.” So much fun to see all the contestants back to the stage! We missed em!
Next, Jacquie Lee performs Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” with Matthew Schuler, Caroline Pennell, Cole Vosbury,and James Wolpert. Wow, these guys sound amazing together! We are definitely impressed by this performance.
A quick commercial break leads us into Tessanne Chin performing “Love Can Move Mountains” with her personal idol Celine Dion. This was a phenomenal powerhouse performance!
After One Republic performs their new single “I Live,” some of the Season 5 boys including Matthew, Matt, Nick, Preston and Ray performed Bruno Mars’ “Treasure.” A really fun performance by the guys! They made us want to get up on our feet and dance!
Next up, Will Champlin performs “Wagon Wheel” with Jonny, Cole, Caroline and Austin.
Following Will’s performance, Jacquie performs “Ain’t It Fun” with Paramore. Jacquie sounds great with lead singer Hayley Williams.
After some of the girls of Season 5 perform Kelly Clarkson’s “My Life Would Suck Without You,” Celine Dion and Ne-Yo hit the Voice Stage together for a beautiful vocal performance.
Next, Will Champlin performs “Wake Me Up” with Aloe Blacc. Wow, they harmonize so nicely together! We definitely dig it.
Now, Tessanne brings back James, Preston, Olivia and Grey to perform “Hold On I’m Coming.” This is an incredible performance. Everyone sounds amazing!
OMGOSH! What a shock! We have a surprise performance! Lady Gaga performs “Do What You Want” with Christina Aguliera!! WOW, that was unbelievable!!
So, now the time has finally come!! The artist in third place is…WILL CHAMPLIN.
This leaves Jacquie Lee and Tessanne Chin. The Winner of The VOice is….TESSANNE CHIN!!! Team Adam wins a second time!
