Tonight on NBC’s Season 6 of The Voice, it’s another round eliminations! Which eight artists will be saved on tonight’s live result show? Which of tonight’s bottom 3 contestants will receive the instant save?
Let’s get right into some live results!
After Usher performs Lenny Kravitz’s “Always On The Run” with his Voice Team, Host Carson Daly reveals that the first two artists who are safe and moving on to next week’s live show is Team Adam’s Christina Grimmie and Team Blake’s Sisaundra Lewis.
After a quick conversation with the coaches, Carson reveals that the next two artists who are safe are Team Shakira’s Kristen Merlin and Team Usher’s Josh Kaufman.
Next up Coach Shakira performs “The One Thing” off her new album with Team members Kristen Merlin and Tess Boyer.
Now, let’s get back to some results! Carson reveals that America has also saved Team Blake’s Audra McLaughlin and Team Adam’s Delvin Choice!
Carson then reveals that the last artist saved by America’s votes is Jake Worthington from Team Blake.
This leaves Bria Kelly, Tess Boyer and Kat Perkins in the bottom 3. Each of the contestants will now perform one last song in hopes of receiving tonight’s instant save.
First up, Bria Kelly performs “Crazy on You” and does a great job of showcasing her raspy tone.
Blake says he always thought she was a front-runner and thinks her performance may have saved her tonight, while Usher says he has always felt great about Bria.
Next up, Tess Boyer performs “Who Knew” by Pink. There is no denying Tess has a great voice, but we are not sure this performance is strong enough to save her.
Adam says that Tess is an amazing singer, while Usher says he loves Tess and says it’s great to know that she has been able to grow here and thinks it was a great performance.
Shakira says that she truly believes she has one of the most unique voice in the competition. She states: “You are a fighter. That performance was just so great.”
Lastly, Kat Perkins performs “Oh Lala” with incredible power as she once again reveals her distinct rocker edge. She probably gave the strongest performance out of all of the bottom 3 artists.
Blake says, “If that doesn’t buy you next week, I don’t know what the hell will,” while Usher commends Kat for a great performance.
Carson now announces that the artist who has been saved via Instant Save is…. Team Adam’s Kat Perkins! Unfortunately, Team Shakira’s Tess Boyer and Team Usher’s Bria Kelly have been eliminated tonight.
