Season 4 of AMC’s The Walking Dead will premiere on October 13, 2013, at 9pm (ET).
AMC made the announcement at Comic-Con last week and released a video preview of season 4 on their website (you can watch it below!).
No spoilers here, as this is all in the preview – but it looks like The Walking Dead season 4 might be even more intense than seasons 1 through 3…. is that even possible?
There’ll be more Walkers, more people, more losses… and perhaps even more pressure on Rick and our heroes.
We’ve been waiting for the season 4 premiere date since the end of season 3 – all we have had until now is a “coming in October” teaser from AMC.
Now that we have a date, let’s throw out a could of predictions…
• The Walking Dead pre-season 4 webisodes: last year’s “Cold Storage” webisodes were released two weeks before the season 3 premiere. If AMC holds true to the past, we’ll be looking for them around the beginning of October.
• The release of The Walking Dead season 3 on Netflix: in previous years (and with other AMC shows as well) previous seasons appeared on Netflix about a week before the new season premiere. So perhaps… just maybe… right around October 6 or 7.
October seems a long way off!
