Entertainment Weekly just released an exclusive new photo from The Walking Dead season 5 and it is not making fans very happy.
In the picture Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) is shown bound and gagged and looking a little more disheveled than usual.
It looks as though the creepy possible cannibals at Terminus aren’t being so kind to our favorite zombie killer with a crossbow. Seeing Daryl in this shape is making fans a little more than nervous.
Since Daryl is not one of the characters from the comic book his fate is anyone’s guess. However, if creator Robert Kirkman kills him off there will no doubt be a massive uproar.
“If Daryl dies, we riot” has become The Walking Dead fans mantra being printed on T-shirts and other memorabilia. Fans all over the internet are already in a panic promising to never’ watch the show again if Daryl dies.
However, regardless of how beloved a character is, The Walking Dead never hesitates to repeatedly break fans’ hearts by offing our favorites.
So we’ll have to hold our breathe and brace ourselves for whatever The Walking Dead has in store for us in what looks like an intense fifth season.
The Walking Dead returns to AMC in October.
