Apple’s new third generation iPad launched in the US on March 16, as part of a staged worldwide launch. Quite a few countries were left out of the initial launch, but the new iPad is now headed their way.
Along with the US, the March 16 launch included Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Switzerland, and the UK.
A week later, March 23, the device was launched in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Macau, Mexico, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.
Today Apple said that on April 20, the new iPad will launch in Croatia, Cyprus, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Malaysia, Panama, South Korea, St Maarten, Uruguay and Venezuela.
And on April 27, the new iPad will launch in Colombia, Estonia, India, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, South Africa and Thailand.
