Thursday Night Football (Week 7): Jets vs. Patriots: Streaming, Preview & Predictions

Week 7 in the NFL kicks off with a battle between  2 long-time division rivals on  Thursday Night Football, as the New York Jets take on the New England Patriots.

The game will be broadcast live  from  Gillette Stadium, in Foxborough, Massachusetts starting at 8:25 P.M. (EST)  on both CBS and the NFL Network.

(Unlike in years past, this year the NFL Network will air 7 Thursday night games between September 11 and October 23).

Live streaming will be available from the NFL Network, DIRECTV NFL Sunday Ticket, Verizon and Manscave Football.

Streaming through the NFL Network is free, but can only be accessed through a participating cable provider and only through your home WI-FI Network: it can not be accessed when traveling.

The DIRECTV NFL Sunday Ticket requires a subscription, which starts at $199 and is available to all Direct TV customers.

Those who do not have DIRECTV, but live in NY City, Philadelphia or San Francisco are eligible to purchase the service as well.

Verizon customers who have the Verizon Wireless More Everything Plan can also watch the game through live stream for free, as they dropped the $5 service fee for this season.

There is also HD streaming service available form Manscave Football, which can be used on any device anywhere you go.  They have various packages, from $9.99 a month and up, offering access to all the games, replays, highlights and stats.

The Jets season is all but dead, but that doesn’t mean they are going to roll over and give this game away, especially not to New Englad, so this game might be closer than most people think.

The Jets have lost their last lst 5 games and QB Geno Smith has looked terrible, but he still seems to be a better choice than a washed-up Michael Vick, so he should be tarting.

As bad as Smith has been, it is not all his fault, as his offense has given him no help, with dropped passes and a no-existent running game, which only further hinders their passing game.

The Patriots, on the other hand, have had back-to-back wins and are looking like their old selves, particularly QB Tom Brady, who went 50 for 72 with no interceptions on those 2 games.

Also, Rob Gronkowski looks to be 100% again with 13 catches for 194 yards: combine all that with the Jets paltry defense and NE should have an easy day on offense.

The Jets will put up a fight, but they just don’t have enough in them: New England wins their 3rd straight game, 31-20.
