Trailer for New Selena Gomez Movie Released – Watch It Here!

The trailer for the upcoming Selena Gomez comedy Behaving Badly has just been released.

Based on Ric Browde’s novel While I’m Dead Feed the Dog, the movie stars Nat Wolff, who is hot off this summer’s hit The Fault in Our Stars. He plays Rick Stevens, a 16-year-old boy trying to win the heart of his dream girl Nina, played by Gomez. There are several complications to contend with, including Nina’s difficult ex-boyfriend. Hookers and police officers figure into the plot, too.

The film has an all-star cast that also includes Jason Lee, Heather Graham, Cary Elwes, Mary Louise Parker, and Elisabeth Shue. Gary Busey has a supporting role, as well. Behaving Badly marks the feature debut of director Tim Garrick, who co-wrote the screenplay with Scott Russell.

This is the latest attempt for former Disney star Gomez to establish herself as a mature actress.

Last year Gomez starred in the provocative and controversial Spring Breakers. The film received good critical reviews but spurred a backlash among her young fans, who were shocked to see the actress in such an unwholesome movie.

Behaving Badly has been given an R rating by the MPAA for “crude sexual content and language throughout, some graphic nudity, and drug material.”

Behaving Badly was filmed in 2012 and has been awaiting release ever since. Vertical Entertainment will finally open the movie theatrically on August 1.
