Looking for some help with your turkey?
A number of turkey cooking and turkey tips hotlines are open on Thanksgiving Day.
Probably the most well known turkey hotline is the Butterball Turkey Talk Line. They are available on Thanksgiving Day from 7 AM to 7 PM (all times EST) at 1-800-BUTTERBALL, or 1-800-288-8373.
Butterball also offers turkey help via email and online chat through their site here, and a search feature on their home page that combs through their extensive list of turkey tips articles.
The USDA also operates their own turkey helpline at 1-888-674-6854. Their helpline opens at 8 AM on Thanksgiving and closes at 2 PM. The USDA also has been automated answer bot called Karen. It (she?) can be accessed here. She’s also available in Spanish – here.
ShopRite grocery store is a “Chef On Call” hotline available from 8 AM until 2 PM on Thanksgiving. The number is 1-800-ShopRite, or 1-800-746-7748. They say to ask for “Chef On Call”.
Shady Brook Farms has a ‘Turkey Line’, but it appears pretty limited. It’s not live, just prerecorded information. However, it is accessible 24 hours a day. The number is 1-888-723-4468.

The Crisco Pie Hotline will be open from 8 AM to 8 PM on Thanksgiving day. The number is 1-877-367-7438.
Betty Crocker’s Ask Betty hotline is open from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM. The number is 1-888-ASK-BETTY, or 1-888-275-2388. They also have a search engine that browses their help articles for information. It’s available here.
