TWD Season 6: New Trailer, A Big Fight & Lots To Worry About

When the 2nd half of season 6 of The Walking Dead returns on Valentine’s Day one thing is for sure: love will definitely not be in the air (except for fans who love zombies).

AMC has released a new 30-second trailer and while it doesn’t reveal much, star Norman Reedus does, giving fans clues as to what to expect.

In a recent interview with Empire magazine, fan darling Reedus said: “There’s going to be a fight. I won’t tell you who, when and where, but I can promise you a fight. All of us are about to clash with that motherf—er. There’s a lot of turmoil in the second half of Season 6.”

As fans know, comic villain Negan will be appearing this season, so it is a pretty safe bet that is who he is referring to.

If that is the case fans will have to wait a while, as Negan is not expected to appear until the final episode of the season.

As for the trailer, which you can see here, there’s really not much to see in terms of new footage.

The clip shows Rick, Carl, Jessie, Ron and Sam as they begin to make their way through the zombies.

You can hear Rick telling everyone to stay calm as Sam begins to shout “Mom”.

The trailer ends with a voice saying to tune in to see what happens next.

Lots of guesses here, but Rick saying to be calm juxtaposed with Sam raising his voice tells me this isn’t going to end well.

Fact is, the 2nd half of season 6 is shaping up to be one of the most intense and vicious ones yet, with lots to watch and lots to fear.

The mid-season premiere of the 2nd half of season 6 of TWD airs on Sunday, February 14, at 9 P.M. EST.
