Rite Aid has been stocking its shelves full of deals for Valentine’s Day, including affordable roses, candy, gifts, and cards.
Most Rite Aid stores will begin carrying roses and flower bouquets on February 12.
Freshly cut selections include a dozen red roses for $19.99 or assorted bouquets featuring red, white, and pink flowers for $9.99 to $14.99.
Chocolate offerings and candy include Valentine’s M&Ms and Hershey’s Kisses, premium selections in heart-shaped boxes from Russell Stover’s and Whitman’s, and gourmet varieties from Godiva, Ghirardelli, and Lindt.
Traditional favorites such as conversation hearts, chocolate roses, and other Valentine’s candies are available, with some starting as low as $0.99.
A variety of colorful stuffed animals including puppies, teddy bears, and dancing and singing gorillas come ready to give for under $19.99.
Shoppers can also find a large assortment of Valentine’s Day greeting cards to accompany their gifts.
In addition to the usual cards, flowers and chocolates, Rite Aid will be featuring some additional Valentine’s gifts.
“Rite Aid has a wide selection of affordable gifts, making us a one-stop-shop this season,” said Tony Montini, Rite Aid’s executive vice president of merchandising.
Novelty gifts such as heart-shaped photo frames, music boxes, animal figurines, and glass plaques with romantic sayings are stocked, as well as gift bags for easy wrapping.
Rite Aid stores also carry close to 200 gift cards to popular restaurants, stores, movie theatres, spas, and more. Starbucks, Bath & Body Works, Cabela’s, Nike, Banana Republic, Macy’s, AMC Theatres, Regal Cinemas, and Fandango are among the list.
Those wishing for something more personalized can create their own photo gifts through Rite Aid’s photo center. Photo books, iPhone and iPad cases, keychains, and mouse pads are a sampling of the customizable products offered.
Customers also have the chance to win free Häagen-Dazs ice cream for a year, and other random prizes, by entering Rite Aid’s #Wheresthelove contest.
The company says, “Rite Aid’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram friends and followers are invited to share their Valentine’s Day moments through pictures and posts using the hashtag #Wheresthelove. From now until Valentine’s Day, Rite Aid will share some of the best responses, as well as, award six random prizes, including the grand prize of free Häagen-Dazs ice cream for one year!”
