Activision’s latest trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 aired yesterday during the NBA Western Conference finals. While it reveals few details about the game, the trailer (below) does give gamers what they wanted…the release date of “WW 3”: November 8, 2011.
Using what appears to be game-play footage, the trailer reveals that Modern Warfare 3 will have action in several locations, such as New York City, London, Paris and others. Of particular interest to on-line gamers, Activision claims Modern Warfare 3 will improve the best console-based online multi-player game.
The Infinity Ward team developed the latest title in the Activision franchise. The sequel to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has been highly anticipated, particularly since the last version won multiple Game of the Year awards.
Additional information on Modern Warfare 3, perhaps including a playable demonstration, is expected at next month’s E3 show in Los Angeles.
