Walgreens Issues Recall On Donuts Due To Mold

Walgreen Co., of Deerfield, Illinois, has issued a recall on their Nice! Powdered Sugar Mini Donuts after receiving consumer complaints that claim there is mold on them.

The donuts were distributed nationwide and come in 11.5 oz packages.

The packages are marked with WIC number 178206 and UPC number 4902264948; these numbers can be found near the bar code, which is next to the nutrition facts on the back of the package.

Anyone with these donuts in their possession can return them to Walgreens for a full refund.

Those with questions can call the company at 1-800-925-4733.

According to the FDA consuming a small amount of mold id usually harmless, but if you experience and nausea, diarrhea, abdominal cramps or a fever you should see a doctor.
