Walking Dead Season 5: Watch A Sneak Peek of Mid-Season Premiere [Video]

The mid-season premiere of ‘The Walking Dead’ is this Sunday, February 8 at 9 P.M (EST) on AMC, but fans can see the first 2 minutes now below.

The 2 minute clip features lots of images and some dialogue, but just like in the past it raises more questions than answers.

One thing is for sure: everyone is till reeling from Beth’s death, and after all of the turmoil they have been through it’s a safe bet that they won’t be as trusting as they used to.

The video opens with someone digging dirt which appears to be for Beth’s (Emily Kinney) grave, interspersed with a picture of a house and the sound of Maggie (Lauren Cohan) crying.

As Fr. Michael’s (Seth Gilliam) voice fills the screen, saying burial rites for Beth we are hit with images that indicate the group is back on the road looking for a safe place.

The picture of the house (which is actually a picture of a drawing of a house) seems odd, but based on the rest of the video it appears it is Noah’s house before the zombie attack.

This is confirmed later by images of a young Noah (Tyler William James) and what looks like a twin brother as well as Noah talking to Rick (Andrew Lincoln) about how he and Beth had planned to go back to his old home town.

Rick tells the group about Noah’s town (which is gated and secure) and although Glen (Steven Yeun) seems unconvinced Maggie is on board.

The most intriguing image in the video though, is a shot of the group outside a gate- is this Noah’s hometown? is it the famous Alexandria Safe Zone featured in the comics? could they be one and the same?

There have been rumors about potential characters from that part of the comic book joining the cast this season so it’s really anyone’s guess.
