With Labor Day upon us, it’s time for not only a long bonus weekend, but some great sales!
Walmart has some online specials to start off the new shopping season with. There’s a wide range of items being majorly rolled back this week.
From electronics to outdoor, clothing, home decor and more, there are discounts going on in almost every category. Below are some highlights of the current specials.
Electronics
Televisions, tablets, printers and phones are all there as well as a Garmin GPS unit. This is probably the most highly anticipated part of the Walmart Labor Day sale. Here are a few of the most notable electronic discounts:
• A 55″ LG HDTV with LED lighting. An ultra slim model at just 1.4″ thick for $778.00
• The 16GB Nook Tablet for just at $149.00 (was $249.00)
• A 32GB Apple iPod Touch (4th Gen) for $199.00 (was $239.00)
• A laptop bundle with choice of laptop, case, printer and flash drive for $339.00
There are some cheaper tablets available as well, but besides the iPad 2 being reduced, nothing to really jump at in tablets.
Home
If you’re in the market for a mattress, child or baby bed, or some outdoor furniture, here are some items on sale that you might be interested in:
• Better Homes and Gardens Sonoma outdoor 5-piece patio set reduced from $798.00 to $549.00
• A wooden crib by Carter’s (4 in 1 convertible model) for$159.00
• A Spa Sensations 8″ foam mattress with memory foam starting at $115
• A Dorel twin-over-full bunk bed for $179 (was 19)
Outdoor Fun
Playgrounds, bikes, trampolines and camping gear are the biggest deals in this category. End-of-season sales coincide with the Labor Day sale on these items:
• A Prescott Backyard Discovery Playground in cedar wood for $299 (reduced from $349)
• Step 2 Neat N Tidy Cottage for $129 (was $169)
• Little Tikes Climber & Swing set for $99 ( was $129)
• Bazoongi 7′ Kids Trampoline for $119 (from $129)
• Adult size bikes starting at $79
• 8 person Ozark Trail dome tent for $79
Although you’d expect patio sets to be listed here, they are actually in the home section (see above).
Apparel & More
There are some clothing specials good enough to check out here, but it’s mostly summer clearance summer clothing. Items worth noting here are:

All in all, if you`re looking for baby items, outdoor play equipment, a TV or mattress it`s worth taking a few minutes to browse. As far as clothing, shoes and tablets go however, better prices will come along.
