Warhammer 40,000: Dawn Of War II – Retribution is being released on March 4, 2011 in the United States. This is the second stand alone expansion set for the real time strategy game (RTS).
The expansion is set in a world years after the story of Dawn of War II – Chaos Rising. Players are able to choose what perspective they want to play from. The expansion will feature the first ever multiple-race single player campaign since the inception of Dawn of War II. One known playable race in the expansion is the Orks.
Retribution will also contain new units for multiplayer mode as well as new playable maps.
“We all love the Blood Ravens here at Relic Entertainment, but there are also a lot of fans of the other races and armies out there so we decided that Retribution should allow the player the freedom to experience the campaign from the perspective they select,” stated Dawn of War II producer Jeff Lydell.
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II – Retribution will be available for the PC.
