Showtime has released the first episode for its brand new horror series Penny Dreadful – a full two weeks before the show’s premiere!
Viewers can access the hour-long episode for free online using YouTube and on the Showtime website.
The episode is also available on Showtime ON DEMAND® and for free through Showtime Anytime.
In addition to the early release of the first episode, Showtime also promises to debut the second episode of the series on Showtime Anytime immediately following the network television premiere.
Penny Dreadful is an upcoming drama series starring Eva Green, Josh Hartnett and Timothy Dalton.
Set in Victorian London, the plot of Penny Dreadful focuses on the intertwined tales of some of history’s most extraordinary (and frightening) literary characters.
During its first season, viewers can expect cameos by figures involved in the spooky tales of Dorian Gray, Dr. Frankenstein and even Dracula.
The show will also feature appearances by Reeve Carney, Rory Kinnear, Harry Treadaway, Danny Sapani and Billie Piper.
Penny Dreadful premieres May 11 at 10 PM ET/PT on Showtime.
