Deliver Us From Evil is scheduled to open in theaters July 2.
Sony Pictures has released a new international trailer for the upcoming horror film Deliver Us From Evil.
Directed by Scott Derrickson, the creepy crime thriller stars Eric Bana, Edgar Ramirez, Olivia Munn, Sean Harris and Joel McHale.
In the film, Bana plays Ralph Sarchie, a dedicated and hard-working NYPD officer struggling to find the balance between work and family life.
After responding to a series of unsettling and peculiar crimes, Sarchie partners up with an untraditional priest in order to uncover the truth about the demonic evil haunting New York City.
The flick is based on the 2001 book Beware the Night written by real-life NYPD Sergeant Ralph Sarchie and co-written by Lisa Collier Cool.
Beware the Night contains personal accounts of some of Sarchie’s most bizarre and horrifying cases during his sixteen-year tenure on the force.
Deliver Us From Evil is scheduled to open in theaters July 2.
