Wednesday is the new Friday for Verizon customers thanks to their new #WhyNotWednesday? promotion, which starts today (Wednesday, August 26th).
The campaign will allow customers to sample something new from the digital world every Wednesday from today forward.
Every week will feature something different, from the world of music, sports, technology, entertainment and more.
Promos for each week’s special will be found on Verizon’s Tumblr site at verizon.tumblr.com, or you can follow @VerizonWireless on Twitter; look for the hashtag #WhyNotWednesday
This weeks campaign will give customers a chance to “crash’ the MTV Video Music Awards, which airs this Sunday, August 30th.
Verizon customers, using the streaming app Periscope, can go backstage and experience the red carpet up-close and personal with special host Vanessa Hudgens.
According to Verizon’s notice they are doing this because: “We know our network offers the best digital experience available, and we want our customers to fully understand how ‘better matters’ by enjoying some of the best content and experiences out there.”
