Tickets for the 2016 TaxSlayer Bowl, taking place December 31 in Jacksonville, Florida, go on sale today.
Teams have yet to be announced, but will feature an SEC conference team versus either Notre Dame or an ACC or Big Ten team.
The 2016 TaxSlayer Bowl is set for 11 a.m. Saturday, December 31 at EverBank Field. It will be televised nationally on ESPN.
Tickets for the 2016 TaxSlayer Bowl can be purchased at taxslayerbowl.com or through Ticketmaster.
A sweepstakes to win a trip for two to the 2016 TaxSlayer Bowl is also open to college football fans. The grand prize includes a VIP experience complete with travel and accommodations to the bowl game. The sweepstakes run through December 14; entry forms can be found at www.taxslayerbowl.com.
Teams playing in the 2016 TaxSlayer Bowl will be selected on Sunday, December 4. SEC teams that are eligible include Florida, Auburn and LSU. Eligible teams from the ACC include Miami, North Carolina, Virginia Tech and Florida State while eligible Big Ten teams include Wisconsin, Nebraska and Minnesota.
