Winter Storm To Hit Central NC

The National Weather Service just issued a warning, stating that a Winter Storm will hit central North Carolina starting Sunday.

People can expect a lot of snow and might even mix with rain although only for a small period of time.

NC can expect around 2 to 4 inches of snow and even more in the coastal plain area. Specialists claim that even more can come in the event that the winter storm will move towards the west or east. The authorities have quickly responded and have already treated roads with salt brine.

Children will surely be happy since central NC has not seen such snow since 1947. The problem is that the people living here are not prepared for a winter storm. Authorities have urged people to be careful, especially if they plan to drive during the Holidays. It is recommended to only go out if they have special tires and are prepared for snow.

The good news is that the winter storm will not affect anything except roads and no problems are expected. Now we just have to wait and see the exact impact and how everything turns out.
