Wishbone Ranch Salad Dressing Recall Issued- What You Need To Know

A recall has been issued on Wishbone’s Ranch salad dressings by Pinnacle Foods Group LLC due to a packaging mix-up that may have resulted in select bottles containing an undeclared egg allergen.

The bottles in question contain Wishbone Blue Cheese salad dressing instead of Ranch dressing and may therefore contain egg.

Those with an egg allergy who consume the product can have a severe, even fatal allergic reaction.

The issue was brought to the company’s attention by a consumer and affects 8,678 cases of Wish-Bone Ranch Salad Dressing in 24 oz. bottles, which were distributed nationwide.

The bottles were produced on April 23, 2015 by a contract manufacturer and have UPC code 0-41321-00661-6 and a ‘Best Used By’ date of February 16, 2016.

At this time no known illnesses have been reported as a result of this recall and all affected distributors and retail customers, as well as the Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network (FAAN) are being notified about the issue.

Consumers who may have the recalled product can return it for a full refund at the store it was purchased. Consumers with questions should call 1-888-299-7646, Monday through Friday between 9 A.M and 5 P.M. (EST).
