Woot Lights Up Woot-Off Special

Online deal site Woot is currently in the process of a Woot-off special. They offer Woot-Off specials once or twice a month, and it’s somewhat reminanistant of KMart’s old Blue-Light specials.

A Woot-off is evidenced by the orange flashing lights that can be seen on the main deal page. What this indicates is that each deal will last until it is sold out or 12 hours have passed, whichever comes first. Immediately following the end of one deal, another will take its place.

Woot offers up their continuous deals in a Woot-off at random times. Woot-off’s last anywhere from 24 to 72 hours.

Woot is an online deal site that typically offers one deal per day to customers. Unlike other deal sites Groupon and Living Social which focus on offering discounts on local experiences, Woot tends to offer merchandise that customers want at low costs. They are known amongst consumers for their deals on high end electronics.. Deals normally last for 24 hours and then they are gone. During a Woot-off the customers are presented with multiple deals in a day. According to their FAQ, Woot responds rather reluctantly to returns, so it’s a buyer beware situation. They say if there is something wrong with the product “it’s probably your fault.”
