England battles Uruguay tonight in a vital World Cup match for both teams, and you can watch or listen live for free online.

The high stakes encounter kicks off at 8:00 PM BST, and is being streamed live online on ITV. If you’d rather listen than watch you can tune-in via the web and radio.

BBC Radio 5 will be broadcasting live commentary online and on 909/693 MW in the UK. Alternatively, you can also find live coverage on talksport.com.

Defeat for either team would make progressing past the group stages highly unlikely, and the match looks set to be a high pressure affair.

Uruguay’s confidence has already been shaken after suffering a defeat at the hands of Costa Rica in their first group match.

The result surprised fans and pundits alike. It remains to be seen if it will spur the team on or send them into disarray.

England’s performance against Italy also drew some criticism, with questions surrounding Wayne Rooney’s position and role in the squad.

Though Rooney will definitely be weighing heavily on Roy Hodgson’s mind, the striker giving most cause for concern may be on the opposing team.

Uruguay has confirmed that Luis Suárez is 100% fit following knee surgery, and his presence on the pitch is sure to add extra danger for England.

The bookmakers currently have England as the favorites, but with a young squad under such high pressure it’s anything but a safe bet.

That said, my personal prediction is a 2-1 win for England, though I fully expect it to be a rollercoaster affair!
