This week’s Redbox releases include X-Men: Days of Future Past, Mr. Peabody and Sherman, A Merry Friggin’ Christmas, Happy Christmas, A Single Shot, and Planes: Fire And Rescue.

X-Men: Days of Future Past is the highly successful 2014 sequel to both 2006’s X-Men: The Last Stand and the 2011 superhero flick X-Men: First Class.

In this seventh installment of the X-Men film franchise, Wolverine travels back in time in order to change history and prevent a catastrophic war that brings tragedy and death to both humans and mutants.

X-Men: Days of Future Past stars Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy.

Mr. Peabody & Sherman is the 2014 animated sci-fi flick that features both Mr. Peabody and Sherman, popular characters from the 1960s animated series The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show.

In the adventure-filled flick, Mr. Peabody must come to the rescue after Sherman takes his father’s time machine out for a spin, accidentally ripping a hole in the universe and altering historical events.

Mr. Peabody & Sherman features the voices of Ty Burrell, Max Charles, Stephen Colbert, Lauri Fraser and Ariel Winter.

Next up is the 2014 dark comedy A Merry Friggin’ Christmas, starring Joel McHale and the late Robin Williams.

After realizing he left his son’s Christmas gifts at home, Boyd and his estranged father must travel eight hours in a blizzard to get the gifts before sunrise.

Lauren Graham, Tim Heidecker and Wendi McLendon-Covey co-star in A Merry Friggin’ Christmas.

Happy Christmas is a 2014 dramedy starring Anna Kendrick.

When an irresponsible young woman moves in with her older brother and his wife and child after a break up, the family’s peaceful life is suddenly turned upside down.

Melanie Lynskey, Mark Webber, Lena Dunham and Joe Swanberg co-star in Happy Christmas.

A Single Shot is a 2013 crime thriller starring Sam Rockwell.

After finding a box of money near a young woman who is accidentally shot and killed, a hunter becomes hunted by a group of hardened criminals who want the money back.

Jeffrey Wright, Kelly Reilly, Jason Isaacs and Joe Anderson co-star in A Single Shot.

And finally this week is the animated comedy Planes: Fire And Rescue.

After learning that his engine is damaged and he may never race again, Dusty the plane joins a fire and rescue crew to become a firefighter.

Planes: Fire And Rescue is the sequel to the 2013 animated film Planes and features the voices of Dane Cook, Julie Bowen, Ed Harris, Curtis Armstrong and John Michael Higgins.
