Xbox Music 12 Month Pass Half Off ($49) – Today Only

A 12 month subscription to Microsoft’s Xbox Music is $49 to $69 today in Microsoft’s 12 Days of Deals promotion.

To get in on the $49 deal, shoppers will have to be among the first 20 customers in each Microsoft Store today.

A full year of Xbox Music is available for $69 for those entering the store throughout the rest of the day.

Microsoft’s online store still has the Xbox Music annual pass available for $49 at the time this story is being published.

The regular cost of an ad free subscription to Xbox Music is $9.99/month, or $99 for a full year.

Microsoft also offers a free version of Xbox music with ads. It includes unlimited access for the first six months. After that first six months, it scales down to 10 hours per month.

Microsoft offers a 30 day free trial to the ad free version here.

An Xbox is not required to use the service. According to Microsoft, Xbox Music is compatible with Windows PCs, tablets, Xboxs, on the web, and via smartphone – even iOS and Android devices. However, with an Xbox 360, an Xbox LIVE Gold membership is also required.
