Starting November 2, Kinectless Xbox One bundles will come in at $349 instead of the usual $399.
Participating retailers include Amazon, Gamestop, Target, Toys ‘R Us, Walmart and Microsoft Stores.
“We’re gearing up for one of our biggest holidays ever,” says Microsoft corporate VP Yusuf Mehdi, “And we are thrilled to offer fans up to $150 in savings on Xbox One and some of the biggest blockbuster games of the season.”
The these bundles include:
• Xbox One Assassin’s Creed Bundle – $349
• Xbox One Assassin’s Creed Bundle With Kinect – $449
• Xbox One Special Edition Sunset Overdrive Bundle – $349
• Xbox One Limited Edition Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Bundle – $449
The temporary price reduction will last until January 3, 2015.
The new Kinect for Xbox One was initially bundled with the console, bringing the price up to $499 during the Xbox One’s launch on November 22, 2013.
A Kinect-less version was released on June 9, 2014; allowing the Xbox One to match the price of its arch-rival, the Playstation 4 at $399.
The Kinect-less Xbox One will effectively become cheaper than the Playstation 4 once the $50 discount kicks in on November 3.
