Sears has launched Zombies today – their “Zombie Days Sale – Deals For The Living Dead”!
Mousing-over the not to terribly scary “Zombie Days Sale” image leads to a sudden zombie attack! And a question – “Are You Human Or Zombie”?
Delving deeper into the site, we selected “human”, leading to a message – “Human For Now | Zombies Forever” – the site goes deeper… with more choices, tips for zombie fashions, for human survival, even a special product suggestion for surviving the apocalypse.
Clicking on the “chat with a zombie” feature, we found ourselves in a thought provoking conversation with the undead. It went like this:
> Zombie: gragh rabbah mrh?
You: Hey, this is CP, are you for real?
> Zombie: gah hab maggab
You: Can you spit the human out of your mouth and say that again?
> Zombie: gah hab sears.com maggab
You: Got it!
> Zombie: brainz! brainz! brainz!
It’s unknown how long the zombie spoof will remain on Sears’ website. There is a link provided to “See Today’s Real Deal”. As part of the Zombie Sale, Sears.com is offering 5% to 15% off a variety of items, online only.
