2015 Cadillac CTS – Less Wreath, More Tech

Cadillac is giving its range a refresh, and next on the list is the 2014 Motor Trend Car of the Year, the CTS Sedan.

The most noticeable change is the revised grille with Cadillac’s new wreathless crest. Other exterior updates include active grille shutters, new headlamps and a redesigned hood.

Cadillac didn’t stop with just the aesthetics though; they also improved connectivity inside the cabin. The Cadillac CUE system is the host for the CTS’s collection of technologies including the new Text Message Alerts feature. An eight-inch touchscreen, which resembles a smart phone, allows you to easily execute commands.

New OnStar with 4G LTE compliments CUE and makes the CTS a Wi-Fi hotspot. It works whenever the car is on and comes with a three-mount/three-gigabyte data trial.

And since the added productivity will drain your device’s battery, the CTS is available with the new Cadillac DockSpot magnetic inductive charging system to wirelessly charge your phone.

Drivability has been improved with the new Automatic Parking Assist, which is capable of parking the CTS in parallel and perpendicular spaces.

What do you think about the 2015 CTS? Do you like the new emblem design?
