Stephen Curry and the Warriors are looking to redeem themselves after a grueling game 2 loss as they head to Cleveland for Game 3 of the 2015 NBA Finals.

Preview: Everyone counted Cleveland out after the lost Kyrie Irving in game 1, but the Cavs, led by another monstrous performance by LeBron James, managed to gut out an overtime win in game 2 to tie up the series.

James had 39 points, 16 rebounds and 11 assists for the game and gave Cleveland a new outlook heading home for games 3 and 4, but it was far from  an impressive win.

For one thing, Cleveland  had the lead most of the game (including an 11 point edge with just 3 minutes to go),yet couldn’t put it away despite the worst shooting game of the year from Curry (5-23).

In addition, J.R. Smith had 3 horrendous, sloppy fouls that could have cost them the game and James, despite his triple double, was 11-35 from the field and seemed worm out.

One area where they did looked great was their defense, which kept GS off balance and sloppy all-night.

They are going to need to do that again if they expect to win this series, as well as improve on tightening up their offense and committing less fouls.

For the Warriors, they looked lost in what should have been an easy game 2 win and lost home-court advantage as a result.

Stephen Curry needs to find his rhythm because when he’s off the whole team is as they shot just over 34% thanks to a strong Cavs defense.

Klay Thompson was the one bright spot, as he had a great shooting night and single-handedly kept his team in the game on offense.

The team as a whole needs to take control by grabbing rebounds and setting the pace defensively in order for them to be more effective.

What looked like an easy series is anything but now and game 3 feels more like a game 7 for everyone.

Prediction: I still think the Warriors will win this series and come out strong for game 3- Warriors 100-97.
