Apples Beat Speakers Are Smokin, Literally! A Recall Has Been Issued

Apple has voluntarily recalled the Beats Pill XL portable wireless speaker.

The speaker could over heat and catch fire.

Apple has asked all owners to stop using the speaker immediately.

Interestingly, Apple will not allow owners to return them at the nearest Apple store, or any other retailer that may sell Beats equipment for a refund.

Instead, you must submit a return request via a web form. After the company receives the form they will send you a prepaid shipping box.

Once Apple has the defective speaker they will issue a refund.

The refund can be in the form of an Apple Store credit or a $325 electronic transfer. Apple promises this process will only take 3 weeks.
