For a limited time, the comedy hit film Bridesmaids is available for pre-order from Walmart.com for 38% off – regular price is $39.98 but available for pre-order online at $24.96. The specially packaged edition includes a Blu-Ray disk, DVD disk, a digital copy to download, a cell phone mirror and a ring tone.
This edition is also Not Rated and the buyer must be 17 or older to purchase the item. It includes both the theatrical R-rated version and the Unrated version.
The movie follows thirty-something Annie (Kristen Wiig) who is in a rough patch in her life when she volunteers to take on Maid of Honor duties for her best friend Lillian (Maya Rudolph). Annie is a little out of her element, but has the will to succeed and leads the wacky bridesmaids (Rose Byrne, Melissa McCarthy, Wendi McLendon-Covey and Ellie Kemper) on a wild adventure to the big event.
The movie has been critically acclaimed and is one of the top-grossing comedy films of 2011. It came out on May 2011 and has made over $283 million worldwide, ranking it 17 on the most successful R-rated films. Most movies are considered a hit if they make at least twice their production cost – Bridesmaids cost $32 million.
