TigerDirect is taking $40 off orders over $120 today only.
In a promotion TigerDirect calls Cyber Monday 2, the retailer is providing $20 mail-in rebates on orders over $100.
For orders over $120, they also provide a $20 instant rebate.
According to their flyer, the rebates are on top of any other savings or sales they are having.
There is a bit of a catch to the instant rebate though. To receive it, TigerDirect shoppers must use the V.me by Visa check out portal on TigerDirect’s site.
First time users of V.me will have to sign up for the free service and enter their payment preferences. Use of a Visa card is not required – V.me works with Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover credit or debit cards. Once signed up, the V.me online payment portal can be used on a number of other sites as well.
Some of TigerDirect’s current sales include a Patriot 8 GB flash memory card for $5, Dragon NaturallySpeaking for $19 (after manufacturer rebate), a Phillips Sound Bar System for $59, and an Asus Core i7 notebook for $599.
Also of note is a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 on sale for$169. With the $40 rebates that would make the final price $129.
They also have the popular Dell Venue Pro 8 Windows 8.1 tablet on sale for $299, for a final price of $259 after today’s rebates are applied. That’s not as good as it was for a brief time in Microsoft’s 12 Days of Deals sale, but not a bad price overall.
According to TigerDirect’s homepage, the mail in and instant rebates apply to everything except gift cards.
That would mean it applies to their HDTVs. Some examples of their ‘hot deals’ on the HDTV’s include the Vizio 39″ LED HDTV on sale for $359 ($319 after rebates), a 39″ Toshiba LED HDTV on sale for $369 ($329 after today’s rebates) and a Samsung 46″ LED HDTV on sale for $547 ($507 after today’s rebates).
