Today Major Nelson (aka Microsoft’s Larry Hryb) announced the release of a peculiarly ill-timed demo for Deadrising 3 – the game came out weeks ago!
Along with the announcement, Nelson also revealed that five lucky gamers will be receiving free copies of the game in a surprising, one day, one time only, contest being held by himself.
The prizes in question will come in the form of a code, sent to the contestants email address and Twitter account, that will allow the winners to download a free digital copy of the game on their Xbox One.
Entering the contest is easy enough.
Contestants just download the demo and leave a comment on the official contest page. The comment should tell Major Nelson “your favorite way to take zombies out” and “what is your preferred weapon, weapon combo or vehicle of destruction?”
Alternatively, contestants may also apply by using the “Xbox, record that” command on their Xbox One during gameplay to upload a clip to Microsoft Skydrive, after which they can then leave a link to the clip in the comments section of the contest page.
Each contestant may only enter the contest once and all applications much be sent in before 9:00 pm (Pacific Time) today.
