A lot of buzz is appearing for the next summer blockbuster from Walt Disney Pictures: “The Lone Ranger“. Yesterday not only did we get to see new photos on the film, but the first poster was released as well.
Now, to add a little more excitement to the film, is the release of the trailer from the latest of Jerry Bruckheimer and Gore Verbinski. The teaser gives us a good sense behind the movie, as well as a voice over from Tom Wilkinson, who is clearly the bad guy of the film. The trailer continues show the expected action sequences as well as a surprising voice over of Johnny Depp as Tonto.
“The Lone Rangers” tells the story of John Reid, a man of the law, who teams up with a native american known as Tonto. Together, the two become the iconic duo as they seek to bring order and the justice to the old west. The film stars Arnie Hammer as John Reid/The Lone Ranger and of course Johnny Depp as his Native American sidekick. Along with Tom Wilkinson, the rest of the cast is made of the likes of William Fichtner, Barry Pepper, James Badge Dale, Ruth Wilson and Helena Bonham Carter.
The movie looks to be an action blockbuster, but we will have to wait and see when the film comes out next summer. Until then, enjoy the trailer to “The Lone Ranger”
