Free Microsoft Points For GTA 5 Pre-Orders

Grand Theft Auto V is due for release on September 17 of this year at the cost of $59.99.

Microsoft is offering shoppers 1,600 Microsoft points if they pre-order the game through them.

The Points system created by Microsoft for their Xbox is what gamers use to buy things on Xbox live. Points are typically bought with real money.

Items that can be bought on Xbox live include digital games, DLCs and more.

Microsoft recently updated their website with the new offer for pre-orders of Grand Theft Auto V.  According to the rules of the deal, this offer will expire at the end of 2013.

Grand Theft Auto 5 is initially going to be released on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. There’s no news yet regarding its release on other next generation consoles. It is also not mentioned whether or not the points will be applicable to Microsoft’s soon-to-be-released Xbox 720.
