Free Nexus S Phone – One Day Only!

Best Buy is offering a free Nexus S for one day only (today, August 3rd). The caveat is it requires sign up for a two-year plan with AT&T, Sprint or T-Mobile. Sale ends today at 11:59PM CST.

The Nexus S is an Android phone running Android 2.3, aka Gingerbread.  It is the fastest version of Android available.  The Nexus S phone has a 1.0GHz Hummingbird processor, 16GB internal memory, a 4-inch 800×480 resolution touch-screen display (HD playback up to 720p at 30 fps), and a 5.0 megapixel rear-facing camera which can take pictures and VGA-quality video.  The phone can communicate on all the Wi-Fi networks (802.11b/g/n) and is Bluetooth enabled. It also has GPS for navigation and is enabled with the Near Field Communication (NFC) technology allowing the phone to read information from smart tags or objects embedded with NFC chips. The Nexus S also has a USB 2.0 interface for easy communication and file transfer to a personal computer.
