Google+ Photos Will Now Sync With Google Drive

If you use Google+ photos to store your photos, you will now be able to view and download them from your Google Drive.

Google+ was one of the first services to automatically sync photos from your phone, and now all of those photos (and any others) will be synced to your Google Drive. New photos will be added immediately, and ‘a few weeks’ for entire libraries according to the Google Drive blog.

The photos will not count twice towards your Google storage limit – the limit is universal across all Google services, and so no more storage will be used than before. To use the new feature, look for the Photos menu in Drive for Android, IOS and the web.

What do you think, do you like the new feature or do you want Drive and Google+ photos to stay separate? Comment below.
