GTA-VShortlist magazine has revealed details about the new Grand Theft Auto V.

This week’s issue includes some vital, though brief, information about the game’s central character.

The franchise of GTA has always been about the central character, and who he is reveals a lot about what the game will be like and what it holds for gamers.

Here is what Shortlist had to say about the protagonist: he’s an  “East Coast gangster” who moved to the game’s Los Santos setting (Rockstar’s take on LA and southern California) for a fresh start. “But, as in The Godfather III – just as he thought he was out, they pulled him back in.”

And that’s all we get… for now.

Taking a look at the official trailer for the game, GTA 5 seems to have a very expansive and lively world, with lot’s of side activities to perform as well. As we reported earlier, GTA 5 will work on the current generation of consoles and the PC, contrary to some of the rumors that have been propagating on the web.

The release date for GTA 5 is yet to be confirmed, but it’s expected to be around springtime, 2013.  The next trailer for GTA 5 is all set to come out on November 14, 2012. It’s said to reveal more about the game and it’s characters.
