How To Take Better Pictures With A SmartPhone – A Look At Photo Apps

Instagram has become one of the most popular photo apps for iPhone and Android users, but what are some other cool new apps that will help make your pictures look as good as a professional shot?

Camera+ was developed by Tap Tap Tap and allows iPhone users to bring their photos to a whole new level.

At 99-cents, users can purchase the application that allows for focus setting and exposure adjustments directly on the screen. A stabilizer is included to help steady shaky hands and allows for shaper image quality.

The application also features burst options and self-timer but the most interesting part about it are the photo manipulation options. The clarity option helps bring a dull picture to life, sharpening enhances detail and white balance restores dark spots in the image.

Snapseed is another easy to use app that comes at no cost and can be used on Androids and iPhones. A unique feature on Snapseed is its quick ‘automatic correct’ option and selective adjust, which allows users to select points within a picture for alterations.

Iska Hain, Google Spokeswoman, said “Snapseed provides you with so many options for photo-editing tools that encourage you to create a unique, customized photo that really reflects your mood, the location or your artistic style.”

There is bound to be a part two to this article in the near future with so many new photo apps. What are some of your favorite photo apps for iPhones and Androids? Let us know in the comments.
