In a bid to makeup for sluggish holiday sales, some stores have After Christmas Sales on clothing with up to 75% off.
Macy’s is offering sales on women’s clothing for the next two days at prices up to 63% off including sweaters, pants, and dresses. The Kenneth Cole Reaction Coat, Faux-Fur-Hooded Down Puffer originally priced at $245 is marked all the way down to $99.99 – a 60% savings. Many men’s clothing items are at up to 50% off. Juniors’ and children’s clothing are also available at sale prices up to 63% off including dresses, jeans, coats and outfits.
Banana Republic has upped the ante on their 50% Winter Sale by adding an extra 30% off to already marked down merchandise. These savings are available in both the brick and mortar stores as well as their online site bananarepublic.gap.com. For example, a Tailored non-iron sateen shirt originally $59.50 is marked down to $34.99 – with the additional 30% off the sale price, that is now $24.49.
After Christmas Sales on clothing at Old Navy include up to 75% price reductions in the store and 50% online. Sales include men’s, women’s, girls’, boys’, toddlers’ and baby clothing.
The Gap is offering sale prices of 60% off selected clothing styles or 25% off anything regular priced.
One of the largest online retailers, Amazon.com, is offering up to 70% off clothing and accessories across the entire web site. Shoes and handbags are getting the up to 60% off treatment, still a good bargain for shoppers.
