Kim Kardashian Wedding Makeup & Hair – What She Used, How She Did It!

The Vera Wang wedding gown and reception dresses and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry aren’t the only things that made Kim Kardashian ready to walk down the aisle.

Peter Savic is the hair stylist for Lady Gaga and the man behind the makeup for several fashion magazine covers including Elle and Marie Claire. He wanted to evoke some of the classic movie stars such as Sophia Loren, Ava Gardner, and Elizabeth Taylor, with the chignon he and Kim collaborated on for her wedding day.

Makeup had to be perfect not just for the wedding gown, but also for the other dresses Kim would wear throughout the evening. Kim Kardashian’s long time makeup man is Mario Dedivanovic. To give her the polished princess look, he prepped her skin with La Mer moisturizer and Terry Touche Veloutee concealer under her eyes. He set the makeup with Chanel Poudre Universelle Libre Natural Finish loose powder to last all day long.

To highlight Kim’s beautiful eyes, he swept Lancôme 5 Pan Eyeshadow Palette in Golden Frenzy all over the lid, darkest along the crease and lightest on the brow bone. The golden colors were swept along the long lash for a super-soft smoky look. Two coats of Lancôme Hypnose Doll Lashes mascara in So Black gave her lashes length and volume.

Guertin Terracotta bronzing powder was brushed along the hairline and jaw line and swept along the hollow of her cheeks to warm Kardashian’s skin and contour her cheeks. Her lips had YSL Dessin des Levres lip liner in Nude Beige and Lancôme’s L’Absolu Nu lipstick in Coral Sand, with a shine from Lancôme La Laque Fever lip gloss in Ravishing Coral.

Her skin was kept shine free throughout the night using Tatcha Blotting Papers.
