LG Optimus G was unveiled last year, and though not as popular as Nexus 4, it’s done well in markets.
There’s a list of countries yet to receive this phone, and today’s announcement removes Australia from that list.
LG Optimus G will be available for Australian consumers from March 13th and onwards. The report comes from the folks over at Ausdroid.
However, there’s a bad part to it as well. It’s going to be exclusive to one single carrier; Telstra.
The device comes with a 4.7 touchscreen display (True HD IPS+) with a resolution of 1280 x 768, 13 MP back camera, quad core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor and 2 GB of RAM.
As it’s an exclusive handset, we can expect a launch event to take place on March 13th in Sydney. We reached out to their mobile sales team for the price, but regrettably, they don’t have any information available, and suggested us to come back close to March 13th.
However, the sales representative mentioned this URL:// https://www.telstra.com.au/eoi/keep-informed/index.cfm, where anyone can sign up to receive automatic notifications on any updates related to the handset (pre-orders, price etc.).
Do you like the Optimus G? Would you prefer it over a Nexus 4? Feel free to leave comments.
