Most Popular Toys For Christmas 2012? Here’s The Latest Top 3

Last minute shopping for Christmas 2012 is well underway.

At Amazon.com, the Fisher Price toy company has swept the top three positions in increased sales for the last 24 hours.

The biggest gainer at over 146,000% increase in the last 24 hours is Fisher-Price Little People Builders Stack ‘n Learn Alphabet Blocks.  These cute blocks are followed in second and third by the Fisher-Price Servin’ Surprises Birthday Set and the Fisher-Price Servin’ Surprises Barbeque Set. Each of these toys are virtually tied for second place at around a 1,700% increase during the last day.

The sweep by Fisher Price could mean that the company is still the “go to” provider for kids toys.

It may be that in last minute buying sprees, parents and loved ones may be searching for toys that are safe and reliable and from a well-known company.

Most items at Amazon.com can still be ordered for delivery by Christmas morning.  With 2-day shipping, orders can be placed by Thursday, Dec. 20.  With 1-day shipping for $3.99 (on Amazon Prime), shoppers can order as late as 7 PM EST (most items) on Friday, Dec. 21.

For standard 1-day shipping, Saturday, Dec. 22 is the last chance at 3 PM EST (most items).  Some other options include Monday, Dec. 24 for local express delivery in select cities and finally, Tuesday, Dec. 25 for email and printable gift cards.

Have you finished your shopping?  Or are you planning carefully the next few days to wrap up your gift giving plans?
