Liam Neeson’s latest action thriller film, Non-Stop, opens in theaters Friday, February 28.
It features Neeson as Bill Marks, a work-weary U.S. Air Marshal on a plane from New York to London. What starts as a routine flight becomes harrowing when Marks begins to receive text messages.
The messages demand that Marks have the airline transfer $150 million to an offshore account. As an added incentive to meet the demand, the messenger reveals that a passenger on the flight will be killed every 20 minutes until the money is paid.
To add to the suspense of just which person on the plane is responsible for all this, the captain then reveals to Mr. Marks that the account to which the money is to be transferred is in the name of the marshal himself.
The Non-Stop official trailer below features Neeson in a brief setup sequence as the marshal initially boards the plane, then gives us a taste of the suspense and action which follows.
Joining Liam Neeson in the cast are Julianne Moore, Lupita Nyong’o, Michelle Dockery and Nate Parker. Critics at movie review site Rotten Tomatoes give Non-Stop a less-than-impressive 46% score, but their Audience Meter shows that 97% of the public want to see it.
Non-Stop is rated PG-13.
