The first full length trailer for Michael Bay’s fourth Transformers film, Transformer: Age of Extinction, was released yesterday.
Although this film will feature your favourite autobots, Transformers 4 will have an entirely new cast, including Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci, and Kelsey Grammar.
It appears Bay is moving away from the format of the first three films which all starred Shi LaBeouf and a sexy leading lady.
Age of Extinction will focus on Wahlberg as the rural father of a teenage girl, played by Nicola Peltz (Bates Motel).
In the trailer we see that Wahlberg accidentally discovers Optimus Prime, bringing on a violent assault from the US government.
The trailer also gives us a glimpse of the Dinobots, making their first appearance in the franchise.
Transformers: Age of Extinction will premiere in theatres on June 27.
